Baking Cooking Class – Brioche Easter Buns and Bread

In this baking class cooking class you will be looking at how to enrich breads with milk, butter, eggs and sugar; learn how to make and shape loaves and the best ways to work with enriched doughs. Chef gives you tips on making traditional breads in various shapes using techniques such as plaiting, make your own real hot cross buns and try your hand at the French classic, brioche.
Trevor is a trade qualified chef who has worked in England, Scotland, Sweden and Australia. In 1995 he partnered with a Scottish baker and a Danish chef to open an organic bakery in the Scottish Highlands, that he managed for 11 years. In 2006, he moved back to Australia, taught at cooking schools in Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast before his quest for more knowledge about food and nutrition lead him to university where he studied Biomedical Science. He currently teaches Clinical Medicine and Biochemistry to Nutrition students.
