Rani is from the beautiful island of Mauritius, where the culture is reflected in the food, a fusion of Indian, French and Chinese influences, which, over the years, have developed into a cuisine of its own. This Indian vegan cooking class is based on food that has been prepared in her family for several generations for special occasions. The colours and flavours are vibrant and perfect for a dinner party as several dishes can be prepared in advance. Rani uses a wide variety of spices to perfectly compliment the ingredients used. Join Rani for this delicious Indian vegetarian cooking class and learn to create Vegetable samosas with tamarind sauce, Aged basmati rice, South Indian pumpkin poriyal, Chickpea curry, South Indian coconut chutney, Jackfruit curry, Coconut raita and Mango and cardamom sorbet.
