ABOUT THE CLASS:
A great class for beginners!
Experience the soul-warming art of handmade pasta in this hands-on class. You’ll make two types of dough — egg and flour /semolina-water. We will work with the pasta to roll a variety of traditional pastas you don’t need a machine for. We’ll pair our pasta with bold sauces such as my version of the best Puttanesca I have tasted – it was one of the first Pastas’ I learnt as a chef back in West End in the Soup Kitchen Days. We make the god father of all sauces – the classic Marinara or sugo and I give you 5 easy sauces you can make from that. We make the real “no cream” Carbonara, the southern classic Aglio Olio, a Herb and Lemon Pesto and the delicious Southern Italian Pasta with Broccoli – ( a great dish for kids). Come unravel the magic of pasta—buon appetito!
