It also includes some of the finest cultural experiences of this wonderful region.

This stunning tour of Eastern Sicily offers you the opportunity to discover the islands of the Aeolian. As well, the rich lands surrounding the famous Mount Etna. You also journey to some of the most beautiful historical provinces of Italy. This includes Catania, Taormina, Randazzo, St Alfio and Palermo.

A Taste of The Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Catania

Saturday 18th May
We welcome you to the beautiful city of Catania and check you into our hotel giving you time to settle in. Depending on your arrival we offer you a fun bus tour to take in some of the local scenery. We meet in the lobby to wander to a fabulous restaurant for our welcome dinner in Catania. D Overnight in Catania

Day 2 – Catania cooking Class

Sunday 19th May
Today we head out by foot for a guided tour of Catania exploring this interesting city. After a light lunch in an historical patisserie, we head out of the city for our first cooking class and a night of fun, laughter, eating and drinking. Overnight in Catania B/L/D

Day 3 – Catania – Taormina

Monday 20th May

After breakfast, we visit the famous “La Pescheria” markets with an atmosphere that has remained virtually unchanged for hundreds of years. This historic fish market is noted especially for its huge range of the freshest seafood and it is where we can witness the colourful behaviour of local fishermen selling their morning’s catch. Here you will also find all sorts of wonderful fruits, vegetables, meats, and deli items. It’s where the locals pick up their daily fresh produce. We wander through the markets nibbling as we go and stop for morning coffee and pastries. We are then off to Taormina in the province of Messina. Set in a magnificent position above the sea, Taormina is famous for its breathtaking and most photographed views. Here you can spend time wandering around the beautiful historic city, take a visit to the Greek theatre, admire the medieval churches and get lost amongst the narrow medieval streets and beautiful, luxury gardens surrounding gothic styled villas. We give you the afternoon free to visit, drink, shop or relax in the main square watching passers-by. We meet in the late afternoon to return to the hotel and meet in the evening for a sensational dinner in one of Catania’s foodie hot spots. Overnight Catania B/L/D
